I know firsthand how hard it is to lose someone (or pet). The world can feel like a very lonely place, dark, dreary, unsafe. Grief can trick us into perceiving life as meaningless.
It can be hard to ask for help. We can feel like we don’t deserve it, that we should suffer in silence, that we somehow deserve the pain we are going through… It’s nonsense.
Here’s a little slice of good news I would like to share with you.
I was with you when you received the news,
I’m sorry I didn’t say goodbye.
Your grandad died when you was 12. It was the summer holidays, and surprisingly you do remember the sun.
