Woman in White (100-Word Flash Non-Fiction)

Your grandma wasn’t the kind of person to want to scare you. Nor can you remember her telling you many stories.

Which is probably why this story, which came from her lips, stuck with you.

Decades ago, when your dad was a boy, your grandma was in the village doing some errands.

The milkman called but nobody was in.

He looked through the window and that’s when he saw the old woman in white, sitting in the chair, next to the window.

Your grandma saw him moments later and said he was as white as the milk in his bottles.
