Just Try (A Poem)

Just try.

That’s all you need to do,

For yourself,

Don’t be afraid,

Of what others will think,

Of your failures,

Of your successes.

They’re just afraid,

Of how bright you can shine;

Of how bright you WILL shine.

You’ll blind them,

Just like the sun.

And if they accept you,

Your light will give them warmth,

Reminding them,

What they, too, are capable of.

If they don’t accept you,

You tried.

So, please,

Go out there,

And try,

With all your heart,

And all your soul.

You deserve it,

Just as much as we in the cold

Deserve your warmth.

Thanks for reading.
