Carved (A Poem)

Carved out of a nothing,

So pure and full.

Carved out of something,

That’s anything but dull.

Carved out of a nothing,

That had chinks in its mould.

Carved out of something,

That’s so pure and bold.

Carved out of a nothing,

So in love and brave.

Carved out of something,

That refuses to behave.

Carved out of a nothing,

That’s not false but true.

I’m carved out of something,

That chose to carve you.
